With the Sephora VIB sale starting today for VIB Rouge members, I wanted to do my usual wish list that I always do during Sephora sales. I’d meant to get this up yesterday, but alas, this did not happen. Wish lists are some of my favourite posts to read, because they give me so many ideas for my own wish list. There wasn’t a ton that caught my eye this time like in previous years, for some reason. I haven’t quite decided if it’s a good thing or not, but none of the limited edition holiday palettes looked interesting to me – at least my wallet is a happy camper!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Palette by Mario
Because I really need yet another eye shadow palette when I bought a palette this year I haven’t even touched…I saw this in person and colours are irresistible, though! This is no longer on the website, but it’s $45 USD (so roughly $55 CAD?)
Sephora Favourites – Glow For It Kit – $36
Another item I really want but don’t need one bit…I love me some glowy skin but highlighters don’t usually fit into my daily routine. However, I’ve been making a habit of using highlighters every day. I really love the Sephora Favorites sets because they allow me to try a bunch of different products. This set looks beautiful, and I am especially interested in the Lancôme, Becca, and Hourglass highlighters. This is at the top of my list, but unfortunately, it’s sold out online and I don’t recall seeing it in stores. I keep hoping they might bring it back in time for the sale, but that is wishful thinking.
Sephora Favourites – Trending: Beauty’s Most Coveted Kit
This includes 12 of Sephora’s bestsellers. There are a few of my favourites in here already (The Laura Mercier loose powder, KVD Tattoo Liner, GlamGlow Supermud, and NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard), but there are also things in this kit that I want to try (Becca highlighter in Moonstone, Tarte Marine Boosting Mist, the Cover FX highlighter, the Beauty Blender, and most of all, the FOREO!!) Unfortunately, this is another sold out product…le sigh. Are we seeing a pattern here?
Sephora Favourites – Beauty Unmasked Kit – $47
I love me some face masks – even when I do them myself at home on a Friday night, they make me feel like I’m treating myself. The only one I’ve used out of this is the GlamGlow, which I liked, and I’m curious about the other masks in this set.
NARS Audacious Lipstick in Audrey – $39
This is perpetually on my wishlist. I’ve wanted to try the Audacious formula since it came out, but kept holding back on buying in favour of other lipsticks. There wasn’t a huge selection of colours that looked great on me, but Audrey was stunning. We’ll see if I actually take the plunge this time!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit Refill – $18
I’ve been itching to get a contour powder for a while now, but have never bitten the bullet as I never make time in my makeup routine to contour. I think the ABH contour kits would be excessive for me (I say that now, but will probably wander out of Sephora with one in hand), but since ABH came out with their refill pans a few months ago, I think this is the way for me to go. I have yet to see these in real life though, so I’m unsure which shades will suit me.
Sephora Pro Contour Brush #79 – $43
To go with my new contour colour, I wanted a new brush. Haha, I kid – I’m lacking a decent contour brush in my collection.
Sephora Pro Fan Brush #65 – $34
In my quest to upgrade my brushes, I found this Sephora Pro fan brush (#65). It felt really soft and fluffy, and would be good to apply stronger highlights like any of the Becca highlighters!
Jack Black Lip Balm
I have a tube of this lip balm everywhere – on my nightstand, on my desk at work, and in my purse. I’m getting to the end of the one on my desk at work and on my nightstand, so I will need to replace these during the sale.
That’s about it, a pretty short list this time! I only have $60-some dollars to spend due to my low-buy this month, so I’ll need to pick and choose…good luck to me! I guess half the items I want are sold out, so at least that makes my decision easier 😛
Polished and Inspired 
That most coveted set looks amazing! I’d tick off so many things I’d want to try out with that set, shame they’re undeliverable to the UK (and for some reason we’re not eligable for the discount!)
I’m wearing Nars Audacious vera today – the fomula is so comfy to wear (and I forgot just how cool the packaging was!). would recommend them 🙂

The Most Coveted set is such a good deal considering what’s in there! So sad it doesn’t deliver to the UK and there’s no discount 😦

The ABH palette is gorgeous. I much prefer the look of this one over the Modern Renaissance.
So glad we’re BOTH getting the Nars Audacious lipstick FINALLY. It’ll be cathartic. It better be GOOD.
I’m very tempted by the kits too. Spoiler alert, I already placed TWO Sephora orders LMAO. I might end up placing 3… or 4. In my defense, shipping is free even if I order 1 item. And my friends are all coming out of the woodwork with their requests.

I agree with you on the Master Palette by Mario vs Modern Renaissance…I don’t think I’d ever reach for the shadows in Modern Renaissance! Too out there for me.

OMG hahaha, it’s only the first day of the sale! I can’t wait to see what you get. You might reach Rouge again with all of your friends using your discount! I have to wait till next week to get to the sale…everything I want might be gone by then! *cries*

Spoiler alert again: yup, I requalified for Rouge again! 😆 LOL It was totally due to my friends – one was 2x of everything to stock up. When you’re talking 2x of Nars Laguna, 2x MUFE HD foundation… they add up!
I promise not to buy up these items on your shopping list so they’ll still be in stock… I’m half tempted to swing by the Sephora at Eaton Centre to check out the Surratt blushes… it’ll be a zoo. Not just ANY zoo… feeding time with new Panda cub twins – that level of zoo. 😮

LOL, good luck at the baby-panda feeding zoo!! Ugh, the Sephora in Calgary that’s downtown is terrifying too…office girls (somehow all Asian…why?) climbing over each other to get products. I’m trying to avoid that location this year even though it’s the most accessible.

I love those Jack Black lip balms! I just got a set at Ulta that had a full size of the original and a full size of the new stick version.
That set of mini highlighters caught my at at first… the. I realized I already have half of them. 😂

Oooh great choices! I sooooo recommend the NARS Audacious Lipsticks, I just love them!! I had my eye on the ABH Master Palette by Mario too but I wasn’t actively looking into it since I probably have so many shadows similar to it anyways. When it went out of stock, I took it as a sign, haha! I did just get the ABH Modern Renaissance Palette for my birthday which for my collection is more unique and more me anyways!
I have the ABH Contour kit, I’ve had it for a bit over a year and I really like it. I don’t use all of the shades in it, but it’s nice to have the variety in case I do want to bronze or do a more intense contour if the mood strikes! Love that Sephora sells the refills now, so at least I won’t feel bad if my favourite shade runs out! Though, I’ve had it for over a year now and it doesn’t even have a dent in it, and I use it daily!
I can’t wait for my Sephora VIB sale haul to arrive… I shockingly didn’t buy ANY eye shadow palettes! I was impressed with myself!

Yes, I agree, the Modern Renaissance is definitely more you! I don’t see myself wearing those colours, so I think I’d play it safe with the Master Palette by Mario. Guess I don’t really have to decide if I should buy it or not, since it’s sold out everywhere! 😛

Ugh the Mario palette is so pretty – I wanted it and then talked myself out of it and then saw it in store and really wanted it…ultimately I didn’t get it as I told myself I wasn’t going to get another eyeshadow palette but it’s SO PRETTY!
Isn’t it annoying how they released almost all of the Sephora Favourite’s Sets waaaaay before Christmas and now there’s none left? Grrrr…

I had the exact same internal battle with the Mario palette. You are much stronger than me, my friend. It was sold out online so I took the fact that it was in stock in stores as a sign that I should buy it, LOL.
I thought the same thing! I remember when the Favourites sets used to all be stocked up during the VIB sales, and I always bought them at that time. I guess they’ve just gotten so popular and are such a good deal that people don’t even bother waiting for the sale anymore.
