Hello, everyone! This post was supposed to go up on Monday, but it’s been such a crazy week that I kept forgetting to post it. Today I am sharing with you my final update on the Project Pan I’ve been working on for the last six months. Read on to see my final progress on these products!
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured Crème Highlighter in Moonstone
6 months later, and I’m nowhere close to seeing any pan! It was pretty silly to think I would be able to finish a freaking highlighter, which are notoriously difficult to finish, when it was still fairly new to my collection at the beginning of the year. I enjoyed using this highlighter enormously, but I used it so often that I’ve gotten sick of it – I can’t express how excited I am to start using different highlighters in my collection for the next half of the year!
NYX High Definition Blush in Taupe
Look at this, I’m done with this blush! Okay, so I still have some crumbles to finish up, but would you not agree that it’s fair to say that this one is as good as done? I need to buy another one of these stat, because I’ve gotten so used to contouring that I don’t think I can go without it!
Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Paaaarty
Oooh, not quite there on completely finishing this up, but very close on this one! I started seeing baby pan on this at the end of April, and continued making progress in May and June. Hint: Since I’m on a role with this blush, you may be seeing this in my second Project Pan, because I would really like to finish this!
Bath and Body Works Waikiki Beach Coconut Perfume
This perfume is now completely empty; I managed to get the final few spritzes early last week and then called it done! As accomplished as I feel to have it finished, I am sad that it’s no longer in my collection because it’s a bit of a nostalgic scent for me, AND the bottle is really pretty when there’s liquid inside – I’ll miss seeing this sitting on my dresser!
Jack Black Lip Balm
I had two of these lip balms in my Project Pan; the one I kept on my desk at work is finished, but the one that sits on my bedside table still has quite a bit left. I think I’m okay with that though, considering these lip balms have SPF. I will probably move the remaining one from my bedside table to my purse for the summer!
Kiehl’s Lip Balm in Mango
This one still has quite a ways to go. I was planning on throwing this out at the end of this Project Pan, but I feel like I’ve been enjoying this more than I have in the last five months. I think I’ll keep it for a bit longer before making a final decision on this one.
Bite Beauty Luminous Crème lipstick in Shiraz
I finished in April and I have no idea where the tube went – it’s not in my bag of empties that I was saving for my Empties post!
AG Conditioning Mist
I’m soooo close with this one, but not quite there yet. I think there’s about two weeks’ worth of use left, but I feel like I made quite a dent on it during the last two months. I’m continuing to finish this – I’m excited to have it used up.
Urban Decay Weightless Skin Liquid Makeup
I finished this foundation off during the first week of May! I did enjoy this foundation and would recommend it, but I won’t be repurchasing it any time soon. I would like to try some foundations from other brands first!
Shiseido Ibuki Refining Moisturizer Enriched
Honestly, I started using this in April and decided to stop using this a few days into May. I don’t remember what the texture was like when I first bought this, but when I started picking it up again in April, it was super greasy, just sat on top of my skin, and pilled whenever I tried to apply other skincare or base makeup on top. Not sure if the formula has gone bad, or if my tastes in skincare have changed since I started using this moisturizer, but I just didn’t like it at all. I’ll call this one a forfeit!
Urban Decay 24/7 Dual-Ended Pencil Liner
Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to use this up in the six-month time span, but I feel like I really made some good progress in the last two months!
Urban Decay 24/7 Pencil Liner in Underground
I haven’t bothered using this since the end of April – it’s too small and annoying to use. The pencil is just a tiny nub now and is even shorter than the cap – I think I would just call this good and done!
And here’s my progress by weight! Not surprisingly, the ones with the biggest difference in weight since the end of February were the liquid products.
I am pretty happy with my progress in the last 5 months! I completely finished seven out of eleven products, threw one out, and am close to finishing one. I am doing another Project Pan for the second half of the year, so stay tuned next week to see what I pick for my second Project Pan!
