Hello everyone! Today I’m doing an update on my Project Pan. I’ve been trying to finish or pan some of these items since the beginning of July, and I do a progress update every two months. I’m 2/3 of the way through this Project Pan, so read on to see how I did!

Urban Decay Naked Palette
So in this palette, I’m trying to completely use up Naked, and see baby pan on Virgin, Sin, and Buck. I’ve made some progress on the shade Naked since my last update, but I’m frustrated at how the edges of this shade refuse to be used up – Stashy says she’s having the same problem with the single of this shade! I was a little disappointed at first in how far along this palette got in two months, but two days before the month ended, this happened:

I saw baby pan on Sin! It’s a Halloween miracle! Panning Sin has renewed my interest in panning this palette, but I have a hard time believing that I’ll be able to pan Sin and Buck by the end of the year!
Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Paaarty
I thought that I didn’t make any dent in this at all during the last two months, but comparing it to pictures from my last update, I actually did get quite a bit of use out of this. Even if I don’t completely clean out the pan by the end of the year, I think I’d be pretty proud of how much I used this up.

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Liar
This lipstick sits on my desk at work so that I remember to use it. I didn’t use as much of this in the last two months as I had hoped, but I’m still fairly confident that I’ll be able to use it up by the end of the year.
Urban Decay 24/7 Dual Pencil Liner Perversion/Demolition
I’ve made a significant dent in this eyeliner, but I’ve decided to stop using Perversion because the core has completely separated from the casing, which means it’s dried out. I’ll continue using Demolition, and by the end of the year, I think it’s safe to say we can call this done.

Becca Back Light Priming Filter
I feel like I’ve barely used any of this up, although the bottle is slightly deceiving because the primer clings to the side of the bottle a little, so I think I’ve used more than what’s seen in photos. I had eliminated this from my makeup routine until early this month because my skin was freaking out and I was trying to use as few products on my face as possible, so that’s a contributing factor to this product getting used up slower.
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Honeysuckle Body Spray
Unlike with the Becca Primer, it’s easy to tell how much I’ve used up on this body spray, and I’m quite happy with my progress on this one. I think I’m on track to have it finished by the end of the year!

Batiste Dry Shampoo
I only used this twice in the last two months, and it’s because I rarely go a day without showering – I just feel like dry shampoo doesn’t work on me. However, I feel like this is starting to feel a little empty, so maybe I’ll luck out and finish this by December.
Oribe Grandiose Hair Plumping Mousse
I’ve done worse on this one than Batiste – I did not use it at all in September or October! I tend to wash my hair at night, and find that there’s no point in using this product to create volume in my hair when I’m just going to sleep on it. Not only that, but it doesn’t really give volume to my hair even when I use it during the day.
Samples
In my Project Pan, I said that I would finish 12 samples, or 2 per month, and I have finished zero! I came close to finishing two, but they didn’t quite make it in the nick of time. From July-October, I was supposed to use up 8 samples, but I’ve only used 2 – that’s a big fail right there!
Here is my progress in weight:
That is it for my most recent Project Pan update! What products are you currently trying to finish up?
Sin is such a pretty color and I LOOVEEE tarte’s blush in the shade paaarty – it’s so pretty!

You’re right, Sin is such a stand out shade, and I think Paaarty is such a flattering shade for a lot of skin tones!

I am doing my first project pan and picked a couple of lipsticks because I thought I wore lipstick a lot. It turns out that I don’t really wear lipstick and I’ve pretty much made no progress this year on those. I guess I will just adjust accordingly next year.

I feel ya, I’ve been in that situation myself (trying to use up a highlighter that was full…) I think you definitely understand your makeup habits a lot better once going through one project pan, and then end up picking a more reasonable amount of products the second time around.

You’re doing very well! You have probably heard but they’re discontinuing Naked 1 or something? Which is pretty sad considering how iconic it is.

Yes, I did hear about that! You’re right, it’s such an iconic palette, and although a lot of people say the Naked 1 is boring, I think we shouldn’t forget that it was the palette that launched a thousand other neutral palettes from all brands!

You’re doing so good! I’ve been using that Party blush on and off lately, it’s such a nice shade. That’s awesome that you hit more pan on Sin, Hopefully you can pan it more by the end of the year 🙂

Paaarty IS a really nice shade, and I think it’s quite versatile across a lot of skin tones!
LOL I stopped using Sin the second I hit pan on it. As pretty as the shade is, I’m SO SICK of using it every single day!

It was such a great choice for the birthday gift!
Lol! I understand that, I would get tired of using the same shades every single day!

Great job on hitting pan on the Naked palette – I know how difficult that can be! 🙂
I’m so jealous that a) you can wash your hair at night and it look presentable the next morning (mine kinks and looks like I stuck my finger in a electrical socket) and that you also don’t have to put anything in it. I always have to put something in it otherwise it’s so flat and lifeless. I can win lol

Your Naked palette is the inspiration behind me trying to pan this guy! lol
I still have to straighten it in the morning because the ends stick out in all directions when I wake up in the morning. My hair looks flat too – I just haven’t found anything that helps with that and I feel like dry shampoo doesn’t do it for me!

Congrats on the baby pan in the shade Sin!
I’m literally DIGGING into my UD single in Naked and STILL the ring around the edges hasn’t broken. I’m determined to break it by end of 2018!
Oh yeah, that Tarte blush is so satisfying to look at! I don’t think I own a single blush that has pan showing. Not a single one!
Do you refresh the EA Body Spray through the day? (I feel like I already asked this same question last time) I rarely ever touch up my fragrance through the day so it takes me forever to finish any perfume. Your progress on that bottle is impressive!
I gave up trying to use up a few things and have just been randomly tossing things away that are either old or that I don’t like very much. I just tossed out a bunch of concealers and lip products. Next target are eyeliners and nail polishes!

Hahaha, thank you, thank you!
Okay, I have been digging into mine too! Fingers crossed we can both break it by the end of the year!!
Ha, I don’t think you’ve ever asked! I don’t refresh the EA Body Spray, mostly because it’s too big to carry around unless I keep it at work or something. Usually it takes me a long time to finish perfumes, too.
Oooh, it’s so satisfying to declutter makeup. Good luck getting rid of the eyeliners and nail polishes!
