Hello everybody, and Happy Christmas Eve! I’m still working today, but I do hope you are all at home drinking hot chocolate, relaxing, and watching Christmas movies before getting into the madness of Christmas dinner with family! Since it is Christmas Eve, today I wanted to talk about products that are perfect for holiday gatherings. I’ve already been to two Christmas parties/dinners and have had all of these products on rotation!
Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows
You can’t do the holidays without some glitter in your makeup routine, and these Stila Glitter & Glow liquid shadows are absolutely the perfect choice. They are long-wearing and will glitter on your eyelidsd all night with no fallout!
Tarte Chrome Paint Shadow Pot in Sundrenched
A name like Sundrenched might seem weird for Christmas, but this gorgeous warm gold is so appropriate for the holiday season. These Tarte Chrome Paint Pots are so incredibly pigmented and metallic, it’s drool-worthy!
ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter in Flexitarian
ColourPop’s Super Shock products are so fun to use, but if you’re going for that glam look for the holidays, then Flexitarian is THE highlighter for you. It’s a cool white-champagne shade that is very reflective and intense. If you want your family members to see your cheekbones glowing from all the way at the other end of the dinner table, then this is the highlighter for you.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal
If we’re going to talk about reflective highlighters, I can’t leave Becca out even though I’ve gone on and on about it. Opal is not quite as blinding as Flexitarian, but don’t get me wrong – it’s still a crazy strong highlight. This is more of a warm champagne shade compared to Flexitarian, and I think it would look flattering on a lot of skin tones. It would also look gorgeous with a gold eye look!
Hourglass Ambient Light Powders
The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders give the most gorgeous finish to the skin. I’ve owned their finishing powders for a few years now and really love the airbrushed look they give my skin, but when I purchased this Unlocked palette in October, I got to try their bronzers, blushes, and highlighters as well – and I was not disappointed! Each of these powders are beautiful in their own way. Of course, you don’t need the Hourglass palettes because they’re quite an investment – any of the Hourglass singles are lovely and will give you such a gorgeous complexion!
Nars Audacious Lipstick in Audrey
I’ve talked about this lipstick so many times over the years, but it’s my favourite red for the holidays. It’s slightly more muted than your regular classic red, which I feel a little uncomfortable wearing because our Christmas dinners are pretty chill. Not only that, but I’m super picky about my lipstick formulas, and the Audacious are really comfortable to wear. I always forget I’m wearing them!
What are your holiday makeup picks? This will be my last post before Christmas, so I hope you all have a wonderful time celebrating and spending time with loved ones!
such a great list, that hourglass face palette looks so pretty but it is so damn expensive!! I do want to buy these stila liquid eyeshadows!

I get it, it’s definitely a really expensive purchase! The singles are a good way to try the Hourglass powders, or even the minis!

Love all your holiday picks! I was finally convinced to buy one of those Stila liquid eyeshadows, everyone raves about them.
And opal is such a great choice. I love that people still talk about it even if it’s not new anymore. That’s the sign of a great product. Happy Holidays! x

I’m loving and am in full agreement with all of your suggestions here!!
So obsessed with the Stila liquid eyeshadows for this time of year and I am still non-stop using the Hourglass palette! I think I mentioned to you earlier and I of course love the Tarte Chrome pots, but I find it so incredibly difficult to apply liquid eyeliner over them (and I think you know by now that I wear winged eyeliner daily). But lately I’ve been wearing them on my less intense eyeshadow days when I don’t wear eyeliner, and I’m falling in love with them all over again!
