Hi everyone! If you are a beauty lover, the Sephora website is probably a staple for you (if Sephora is available in your country). I used to get 80% of my products from Sephora, but since starting my blog, I have noticed companies getting better about shipping to Canada, so I have really branched out the last few years.
Lately, I’ve had my eye on all sorts of products from all sorts of places. I always share my Sephora wishlist during the sales, but I don’t think I’ve ever shared a list of things I’m interested in from other retailers, so I thought I’d do that today. Here are some things on my wish list that you can’t get at Sephora!
MAKEUP
Glossier Cloud Paint in Haze
I recently added two more Cloud Paints to my collection, and am officially obsessed. Haze is the last Cloud Paint I’m missing, and then I have the whole fam! Do I need another blush? No. Am I going to buy it anyways? Yes.
Glossier Birthday Cake Balm Dotcom
Another Glossier addiction for me…this flavour was next on my list to purchase, but then they released mango, and I can’t resist anything mango. I still want this one eventually though!
Glossier Play Niteshine
The release of Glossier Play was definitely underwhelming for me, but of course it was their highlighter that caught my eye! I think with the Cloud Paint, Balm Dotcom and Niteshine, that’s enough for me to make another order from Glossier…
Nudestix Jetsetter Kit
So Nudestix is sold at Sephora, but while I was shopping the Sephora sale, I realized that they don’t actually carry everything Nudestix has. This is one of the kits I’ve had my eye on that are on the Nudestix website but not at Sephora. I already have two of their face sticks, but I think this set would be a great way to try their eye and lip products at a fraction of the cost!
ColourPop Super Shock in Parallel
I was literally on the ColourPop website at least ten times this month, putting stuff in my cart to take advantage of the all the sales they were having, only to talk some sense into myself and exit the browser. Whew, I lived through all of those enticing sales! Anyways, this Super Shock Cheek went into my cart several times while they were having their 40% off Super Shock products. I’ve wanted this ever since I started shopping from ColourPop. Maybe I’ll get it one day!
Sydney Grace Eyeshadows
I’ve had Sydney Grace on my wishlist for probably about two years! I’ve heard great things about the brand, and they have some seriously stunning shades. The only reason why I haven’t taken the plunge is because I don’t want to pay for shipping, haha! Cleia from Always Cleia recently made an order and she said she found a discount code which basically paid for half the shipping though, so it might be worthwhile ordering from them if I can find a discount code like that.
Illamasqua Hydra Veil Primer
I think the first time I ever heard of this product was from Stashy who told me about it years ago, but I kind of forgot about it until Rachael from Helpless Whilst Drying recently reviewed it. Just look at it. This is a JELLY primer…enough said!
SKINCARE
Then I Met You Cleansing Balm
I recently learned about the brand Then I Met You from the YouTube channel Mixed Makeup, when she was reviewing Michelle Phan’s skincare routine. Michelle was using this brand in her video, and after watching the video, I started seeing this brand everywhere! They currently only have two products, this cleansing balm and a gel cleanser. I haven’t really enjoyed gel cleansers in the past, so I just want to try the cleansing balm for now. It looks like mango sorbet in a jar. I can’t not get it!
Fourth Ray Beauty Comfort Cleansing Duo
I reviewed the Wide Awake set recently, where I mentioned I was disappointed in the products in that set. However, I want to give their cleansing products a try. $26 USD for both a cleansing oil and a cleanser is a pretty dang good price!
MAC Fix+ Setting Spray
I didn’t know if I should put this in the makeup or skincare section, but here we are. MAC is coming out with new scents of their Fix+, including Watermelon, Pineapple, Cucumber, and White Tea, and they all sound so refreshing! There’s not much information about them at the moment, but I am definitely getting one…or all…of them!
The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%
The Ordinary is also available at Sephora, but I’ve actually never purchased TO from them becase Sephora doesn’t carry the entire line. In my The Ordinary review, I mentioned that I liked the result of their Vitamin C suspension, but I didn’t enjoy the grittiness. Nicole from Pretty Ruff Life seemed to enjoy their Ascorbyl Glusoide Solution, so I’ve decided to give this a try next.
The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane
I adored the 100% Plant-Derived Squalane from the brand, but now I want to try the Hemi-Squalane, which is somewhat new. I heard it’s more of a dry oil and just absorbs right into the skin!
Kristin Ess Hair Strand Strengthening Reconstructive Moisture Mask
I’ve wanted to try Kristin Ess ever since I found out that she had her own haircare line, and was over the moon when I found out through Nicole that well.ca carries the brand. I’ve never really used hair masks, but my hair needs it! I think I take pretty good care of my hair, but it’s been particularly dry ever since I lightened it in April.
Kristin Ess Weightless Shine Leave-In Conditioner
Leave-in conditioners are a staple in my routine, and I’m constantly trying out new ones. This is $22 cheaper than the Ouai leave-in conditioner I’m currently using, and comes with 110mL more product!
Kristin Ess Hair Style Assist Blow Dry Mist
Ha, I told you I really want to try Kristin Ess, I have three of her products on my list! I’m super curious about this spay – it’s supposed to shorten drying time, which is something I need in my life. It takes FOREVERRRR to dry my hair, even though it’s not particularly thick or long. I have no idea why! I’ll take anything that will cut down on the time it takes for my hair to dry.
Krave Beauty The Beet Shield
Every summer, I get obsessed with finding the perfect face sunscreen, which is SO hard to find. It’s always too thick, too sticky, leaves a white cast, sits weird under makeup…the bad qualities are endless. People have been absolutely RAVING about this sunscreen, which makes me really want to try it. I just don’t know how easy it will be to get ahold of this in Canada.
That’s it for this post! Have you used any of these products? What do you think of them, and what’s on your wishlist of things that aren’t from Sephora?
You should definitely check out Klairs Airy UV Essence for the sunscreen. It’s even better than Krave’s The Beet Shield.

Thanks so much for the recommendation! I’ve heard the name Klairs floating around but I don’t know anything about the brand. Definitely looking them up after this!

The Glossier Cloud Paints are the best, aren’t they?? I only have one (Dusk) but I’m sooo tempted to get them all!

Dusk is new to my collection, I haven’t used it on myself yet but it looks soooo pretty! They are really hard to resist, aren’t they? Plus you can mix them too, which is fun!

Dusk is soo lovely! I love how conducive they are to mixing and playing. And if you layer them enough they last all day 😊.

There are so many great brands that aren’t sold at Sephora! I wish shipping here was a little less expensive too. I really want to order more from Sydney Grace already, but I know I shouldn’t right now since my Glossier order is still on the way. I love that you’ve almost collected all the cloud paints, you’re so close to completing the collection!

Hahaha that’s the real struggle, trying not to make order after order, especially when you have one on the way! It’s especially tough when several websites are having sales.

Ooooh that makes me so excited to get the birthday scent! Do you like mango? I think that one is my new favourite, although all the ones I have smell nice!

Yes!! I recently discovered that I do actually enjoy mango, I didn’t like it for the longest time. Next time!

I’ve never understood why people don’t like mango, it’s always been one of my favourite fruits of all time! Someone recently told me it was because of the slimy texture (for them, at least), which makes sense to me.

It’s not that slimy though is it? No more slimy than those fruit cocktail snacks my mom would pack for me when I was 7 lol
